Make it Monday [Patriotic Jello]

I've seen lots of different ways to make Patriotic Jello, most of which call for a mixture of milk & Jello. I'm not a fan of a milky jello. It just sounds off to me. So I bought some Cool Whip and decided to make red & blue jello; then top it off with that deliciousness.

Score! Easy and festive treat.



Ingredients:

1 package blue raspberry Jello
1 package strawberry Jello
Cool Whip
Small Plastic Cups
Red & Blue Sugar
Water

Prepare 1 package of blue jello according to the box. Pour mixture into plastic cups trying to pour an even amount into all cups. Refrigerate at least 1 hour.

Repeat same process with the red package of Jello. Right before guests arrive top jello with cool whip and colored sugar. Enjoy!


I used the same idea to create an Adult Only treat:

I used Whipped Cream flavored Vodka in these guys! Yum Yum.

I replaced 1/2 of the cold water in the recipe with the vodka then layered the jello into ice cube trays. The ice cube trays didn't hold up so well, next time I'll buy those small cups you get salsa in.... they were very good even if they weren't pretty.
