Make it Monday [Apple Cinnamon Oatmeal Pancakes]

Apple Cinnamon Oatmeal PancakesThese are my Apple Cinnamon Oatmeal Pancakes and they are toddler approved! Easy to make & healthy... Good stuff for my growing toddlers.

The kids eat a lot of pancakes [always dry] in our house because they are hand held and I can make a few days worth at once; making breakfast time easier.

My kids don't get butter or syrup for their pancakes yet so a dry pancake has to taste good. I always know if they don't like them... because they end up on the floor. These passed with flying colors!

Ingredients

1 cup Uncooked Rolled Oats blended into flour
3/4 cup Flour
1 Egg
1 tsp Salt
3 tsp Baking Powder
1/2 cup Applesauce
1 tbsp Cinnamon
1 cup Milk
1 Small Apple cubed
1 tbsp Sugar

I started out by using my baby bullet to make "flour" out of my rolled oats. Super fast and makes the oats easier to cook.

Combine: Oatmeal flour, flour, cinnamon, salt, baking powder & sugar in a large bowl. Stir to combine.

Then add your egg, applesauce & milk.

Stir until batter is formed then fold in apple cubes.

After you add your apples use a 1/4 cup to measure out batter. Pour onto hot non stick pan. Cook a couple of minutes on each side.

I waited a few minutes until they were a little cooler and then handed them to my 20 month old twins...

They LOVED them!

    1. I don't see why not! I've never tried using them but I think it will work the same. :)
