Here's what you need and the pattern
Materials
Yarn [Colors that you like]
Knitting Needles
Yarn Needle
Stuffing
Pattern
[When the type changes colors I changed yarn]
Row 1: Cast on 11 [make sure to leave a tail a few inches long]
Row 2: Purl
Row 3: K2, [M1, K1] 8x, K1 [19 stitches]
Row 4: Purl
Row 5: K2, [M1, K1] 16x, K1 [35 stitches]
Row 6: Purl
Row 7: Knit
Row 8: Purl
Row 9: K3, M1, [K2, M1] 6x, K3, M1, [K2, M1] 7x, K3 [50 stitches]
Row 10: Purl
For rows 11 through 24 Knit a row then Purl a row [switching yarn colors every two rows]
Row 25: K3, K2 tog, [K2, K2 tog] 11x K1 [38stitches]
Row 26: Purl
Row 27: K2, K2 tog, [K1, K2 tog] 11x K1 [26 stitches]
Row 28: Purl
Row 29: Knit
Row 30: Purl
Row 31: K1, K2 tog, 12x K1 [14 stitches]
Row 32: Purl
Side Note: I'm a big fan of the "Sugar 'n Cream" yarn at Michaels, I just LOVE their color combos. I've done a few different eggs but for the most part I changed yarn colors as noted above.
Outside of Egg
Sew [inside out] Egg together.
Once you have sewn to the other end [the beginning] flip the egg right side out. Stuff. [I bought hooded towels at target for the kids and found this stuffing in the towels to make the package fluffier... I've kept it to fill my knitted goodies with! SCORE]
Finish by sewing up Egg.
