Last Saturday my girlfriends and I hosted a baby shower for our other friend. We've been planning this shower for a few months and it came together beautifully. I really love how we combined our talents to make this gorgeous shower. And now all about the details:
The shower started at 11AM so we wanted to have a brunch menu and naturally mimosas. There was champagne and sparkling [non-alcoholic] drinks to mix with 3 different kinds of fruit and fruit juices. The guests really enjoyed being able to make a new drink every time.
The paper fans from this post were made by me and I just love the look. I will be making these in the future!
Brunch Table:
Our brunch menu included: fresh fruit, homemade lemon blueberry muffins, mini quiches, tea sandwiches, quinoa salad & cinnamon rolls. All of the food was made [from scratch] by a friend, she's an amazing baker!
We had a few games and a place for guests to leave notes for the mom to be.
The gift table was decorated with onesies I made. The Tux and the Sunglasses were hand painted and the bow tie onesie is part of a set. I'll post more about the bow tie onesies later.
And finally the Dessert Table
The goodies on this table included: Cake Pops, Chocolate Pretzels, Hershey Kisses, The Cake, Sweet & Salty Snack Mix, Candied Marshmallows, and Little Blue Boxes filled with homemade chocolate chip cookies [the favors].
The backdrop for this table was paper circles & bows that I sewed together to make a vertical garland. This was my favorite back drop from the whole shower.
All of the flower arrangements were made by my wonderful friend Chelsey; she has a side flower business... Chelsey Mornings. The flowers were such a great touch!
I showed one of my friends pictures of they baby shower you put together she said your very talent and would hire you to plan a party.
