My quick crafts are usually well, um crafts but in this case its food. Food can be crafty right? I've made these for this weekend [Easter at my house!] and they turned out so darn cute I just had to share. These Easter Macarons were easy to make & decorate!
I've been having so much fun making these knitted Easter eggs I thought I'd share them with you. They are pretty easy and fast to make while you are sitting. I've found time during my Monday night girl get together, where we sit and chat for an hour or two. To my suprise I've also had time to knit these while watching the kids play, I thought for sure they'd be mad or play with the yarn but they don't care. I love when I can multitask!
These are my Apple Cinnamon Oatmeal Pancakes and they are toddler approved! Easy to make & healthy... Good stuff for my growing toddlers.
The kids eat a lot of pancakes [always dry] in our house because they are hand held and I can make a few days worth at once; making breakfast time easier.
My kids don't get butter or syrup for their pancakes yet so a dry pancake has to taste good. I always know if they don't like them... because they end up on the floor. These passed with flying colors!
It seems so strange having Easter decor up already but I'm embracing it. The colors are so bright and cheery how can anyone not love it? My Easter Mantel has a lot going on but I plan to keep most of it in tact after Easter for my Spring Mantel...
I saw these super cute twine easter eggs the other day and I knew I wanted to do something like this for my Easter/Spring Mantel. They looked cute alone but I want color on the mantel [its so white on its own] so I made these eggs Ombre!
They came out just how I pictured.... Love it when that happens.
Todays post is a little different because this is not a finished project and it wont be until next year! Why am I sharing a project with you that isn't anywhere near being finished?
Well, because its best to work on this project a little bit, once a month instead of doing it all at once. So you can start yours today!
Easter is coming early this year and we are having a easter egg hunt for our little ones! I'm so excited. I started thinking about the type of eggs we will have and I thought I'd try out something a little different. Not only did it work but the eggs have a really great pattern, I'm in love with these... I almost don't want to eat them.
Every St. Patricks Day [since Joe and I moved in together, a long time ago] I make corned beef with potatoes, cabbage, onions & carrots. He loves it. About two years ago I tried something new and we don't have our corned beef any other way.
Today I'm sharing with you my secret to amazing corned beef and cabbage.
With St. Patricks Day right around the corner I thought I'd share with you a little Lucky Charm Snack and give you the Tags I made to go with it!
I made a grown up version and a toddler version, since my duo are a little young to chew through a marshmallow treat, plus they don't need all of that sugar...
There's a lot to this mantel for me, at least more than it seems by just looking at it. Things have been kind of sad in the past month. First it was my grandma going to the hospital and before we really knew what was happening, she passed away.
So I wanted this mantel to have some cheer to remind me of happy days and for me thats sunshine after a rain... which means Rainbows.
I should have my mantel completed by tomorrow, the flowers I'm going to use have been difficult to get my hands on... Anyway the main focal point of my mantel is my homemade Rainbow Canvas Art and I just LOVE the way it turned out.
Its just the right amount of cheer that I need to remind me to smile these days.
